Lloyds Register Foundation – Heritage & Education Centre
Tuesday 23rd June 2020 13:00
Applied Research & Outreach Manager, Louise Sanger, will be hosting a webinar guiding researchers through the free archaeology resources that are available in our collections.
Explore the wide-ranging and often unexpected information contained within the Register of Ships, learn about our beautifully illustrated composite ship rules, and hear about our digitised ship plans, survey reports, and other sources on shipwrecks.
It is not all about ships – find out about our sources on dockyards, shipbuilders, stunning coastline images, maps and more! We look forward to sharing some exciting finds with you all as well.
This seminar is for anyone with an interest in all things heritage-related! Our outlook is interdisciplinary so please join us whether you are a maritime archaeologist, into industrial archaeology, economic history, coastal walks, scuba diving or just not sure yet! There is so much to discover and explore…..
Registration for the event is now open.
