Our Annual Conference is to be a virtual event accessible via Zoom to run over a number of weekends in August and September in place of the usual physical conference.
All sessions are open to everyone (except the AGM which is open to AIA members only). Attendance at all sessions is free.

- “The Industrial Heritage of Merseyside” by Maurice Handley
- “Wirral’s Industrial Heritage” by Rob Jones
September 4th
10:30 – The Merseyside Industrial Heritage Society presents two talks:
- “Recent Excavations at Princes Dock” by Mark Adams
- “The Restoration of Albert Dock” by Anthony Clarke
September 18th – A one day seminar on the theme: “The impact of Covid-19 on the industrial heritage sector”

- Shane Gould speaking about the impact in England
- Mike Nevell speaking about the view from the perspective of the IHSO
- Two further speakers
14:30:
- Zoe Arthurs (Young Members Board) will talk about her research on the topic for her Masters degree
- Panel session with Q & A from the (virtual) floor
