Your archaeological site could be on the telly!

The AIA has been contacted by ‘Rare Television’ the production company behind the BBC TV series ‘Digging for Britain’

They are looking for ‘current and upcoming archaeological excavations that could feature in the next series’.

More specifically they would like to cover ‘projects happening any time between now and the end of next summer so for future projects there’s no immediate rush to get in touch but obviously if there are any current projects or ones due to start very shortly it would be great to hear from people as soon as possible’.

Covid-19 has probably had a significant impact on fieldwork in recent months but if you are involved with or know of any projects in the Industrial Archaeology sphere that might be re-starting then get in touch directly with their Senior Development Producer Susanna Zeff: susannah.zeff@rare-tv.com
