Come and join us at the prefabulous Universal prefab at COAM. We will be holding an exhibition in the adjacent Nissen Hut, conducting tours of the prefab and talking about the Anderson shelter, prefab and allotment gardening in the post-war period. Colour-me-prefab activities for children too!

Wake Green Road, Birmingham, Grade II listed prefabs – Open Days 17th and 18th September 2016

Step back in time with Birmingham Conservation Trust, the Prefab Museum and the Twentieth Century Society with these exclusive free entry Prefabulous open days. Open only as part of Birmingham Heritage Week, you will be able to explore a number of iconic 1945 prefabs which survive as part of a row of 17 on the Wake Green Road.

Free tickets for the Wake Green Road prefabs open days on 17th and 18th September 2016 – only VIP (Very Important Prefabbers) slots are left! If you have memories and photos of prefabs in the Birmingham area you will be given priority. These will be held until Friday 29th July 2016 after which they will be released to the general public.
