Cornish Institute of Engineers – Online lecture – The UNEXMIN Project

Robot submersibles investigate geology and industrial archaeology in Ecton Mine, Staffordshire

Stephen Henley of Resources Computing International Ltd

The CIE are obviously unable to hold the AGM or final lecture in person, but we would like to offer you the opportunity of attending via video link. The AGM is due to take place on Thursday, 9th April at 5.30pm, to be followed by the lecture at 6pm

Stephen has very kindly agreed to present this talk via video link, using MS Teams. If you are not used to using MS Teams, we will do a test conference call at 5.30pm on Wednesday 8th April; 24 hours before the AGM and lecture so that you can try the system.

To join the test run on Wednesday, please click this link : Join Microsoft Teams Meeting
Learn more about Teams | Meeting options

You don’t need to download Teams or be used to using it – hopefully it will all be very straight forward. Once you have clicked on the link, you will not need turn the camera on, as you can just use the audio setting and still see the presenter, the presentation and the meeting chair.
Once you are safely on the call, it helps the call quality if you mute your microphone.

PLEASE NOTE: The link above is just for the test run on Wednesday. Once we have run the test, I will send out another email with the AGM Agenda, last year’s Minutes and a new link for the AGM and lecture taking place on Thursday. If you do not wish to view the AGM (but of course we would really like you to join us), you can still join the lecture at 6pm.
