Yorkshire IHS – An Interactive History of Coal Mining in Yorkshire

19th March 2022 @ 11:00 - 12:00 GMT

Eddie Downes, author of “Yorkshire Collieries 1947-1994” will give a talk:

An Interactive History of Coal Mining in Yorkshire

Unfortunately the shadow of covid still hangs over us and we can’t access Swarthmore Learning Centre until at least the new year, so we have transferred our meetings October – December to

The Friends Meeting House,
188 Woodhouse Lane,
Leeds LS2 9DX.

This is across the road from the University Mechanical Engineering department. There is no public car parking there, so people should contact Jane Ellis about accessing the venue. We intend also to have the lectures available on Zoom.
