Industrial Heritage in the Heart of Green Europe

AIA members are warmly invited to participate in this international scientific conference at the Museum of Silesia, Katowice, Poland.

The conference will be devoted to the issues of protection of industrial heritage with sensible environmental measures.

Discussions will also include the need for continued use of modest amounts of fossil fuels for industrial and mobile heritage and more effective use of modern media to promote our heritage.

We will also visit an active mine which might serve as a long-term source of supply of coal for heritage purposes.

Conference full programme fee PLN 250 (approx € 55).

The organization of the conference is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, as part of the implementation of the task “Industrial heritage supports Green Europe”.
