William, the Cambridge Corporation Steam Roller
William who comes from the Aveling stable, is a well known attendee at Steam Rallys’ around East Anglia in the Summer months. William’s current owner Nick Allen will describe William’s earlier life & vicissitudes between 1920 and 1965, on the roads around Cambridge.
In retirement William and his Trailer reside at the Cambridge Museum of Technology and will be available for visits on the evening of 9th of October.
Doors open at 19:00
The talk will take place in the Pye Building at Cambridge Museum of Technology. Entrance on the night is via the Museum’s Cheddars Lane gate.
People attending the talk will have the chance to look around the exhibition.
Tickets are available on the door for £5 a head, £3 for students. Cambridge Museum of Technology members and volunteers can attend for free.
