
Cambridge IAG – Pye’s Factories (or Factory Pye?)

Mince Pies will be available to accompany Mike Kemp on his talk which will cover the expansion of the Pye Group via its Factories in and around Cambridge.
Starting in W G Pye’s back garden shed in the late 1890s’ Mike will chart the rise of the company which eventually employed thousands of staff at the peak of its development.
The talk will take place in the Pye Building at Cambridge Museum of Technology. Entrance on the night is via the Museum’s Cheddars Lane gate.
People attending the talk will have the chance to look around the exhibition.
Doors open at 19:00
Tickets are available on the door for £5 a head, £3 for students. Cambridge Museum of Technology members and volunteers can attend for free.
