Berkshire IAG – AGM – Followed by ‘Caught in Time’

Our short AGM will be followed by “Caught in Time: The Conservation of Industrial Archival Records” by Victoria Stevens.

Victoria is an an accredited member of the Institute of Conservation (Icon) and a highly experienced library and archive conservator, will speak to us on 25th October about the conservation of archival records.

The talk will be a case study of two very different collections: the miners’ bonds and mining plans of the Common room of the Great North (the old North East Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers) and the Rex Wailes collection of mill drawings and plans for the Mills Archive.

The event will start at 19.30, but the zoom call will be open from 19.15 to allow for settling-in time.  The call details are:
