Reviewing the Situation – Challenges for the Sustainability of Industrial Collections in the 21st. Century
The second meeting of the Yorkshire Industrial Collections Network has a focus on the challenges of managing the broad range of large object collections in the 21st. Century. Case studies will examine the approaches of three leading museums which are addressing legacy collections through re-assessment and rationalisation. There will also be an opportunity for other attendees to discuss and share their issues and seek advice.
The meeting will also address the future of the group and how it can be sustained during 2017 and beyond with members working collaboratively to provide mutual support.
